Class Description
In this hands-on two-day filmmaking workshop, students will learn the basics of camera operation, sound recording, and visual storytelling while creating their own short film. On the first day, we’ll develop a simple story, learn essential production techniques, and shoot the movie as a team. On the second day, students will edit their footage, add sound, and complete a finished film. The film will include all essential elements of story: setting, character, plot, conflict, and theme. No previous filmmaking experience is required: just creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to collaborate. This class develops creative expression, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while exploring the power of storytelling through film.
