Class Description
Learning all stages of video production, students will help plan, film and produce a 3-4 minute promotional video for their 21stCCLC program
Learning Objectives: In this class, students will learn:
Pre-Production
- How to use the film medium to create positive messages to the world;
- Essential steps in Pre-Production and the planning process;
- How to prepare for and conduct interviews;
Production
- How to use professional camera and audio equipment;
- To compose and film professional “b-roll” for use in a production;
- The importance of file transfer, organization and maintenance;
Post-Production
- An Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro, video editing software;
- The art of the peer critique and give peer critiques on the progress of student work;
- How to distribute, exhibit, and promote artwork for a variety of audiences.
